THE REGION The Lindenhof is located directly on the Drauradweg R1 at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites and the Hohe Tauern in Upper Carinthia, Austria. This region offers countless opportunities for anyone who appreciates untouched nature, mountains, peace, and no tourist crowds to unwind and reconnect with themselves. Whether hiking in the mountains, climbing through gorges, cycling to the small town of Lienz 20 km away, kayaking on the Drau, relaxing at the beaches of nearby swimming lakes, or simply lounging in a deck chair or hammock on our farm. IN WINTER The Lindenhof is not located in a ski area. Even better! It is situated amidst 30 ski resorts! Of these, 16 are reachable within 15 to 50 minutes by car! Night and day tobogganing – this is possible on over 30 toboggan runs in East Tyrol and Upper Carinthia! Guaranteed fun for young and old! In just 30 minutes by car, you can reach the ice skating mecca Weissensee – the largest groomed natural ice surface in Europe! Over 250 peaks over three thousand meters, more than 1500 square kilometers of untouched nature, and secluded valleys are just waiting for you to put on your skins!
