Our mountain cabin is a traditional Carinthian log cabin built in 1969 at an altitude of 1,800 m. It has been carefully maintained. This way, it now combines the rustic charm of a traditional mountain cabin with modern amenities. The spacious living room on the ground floor is at the heart of the mountain cabin. It features a large couch, dining table and a kitchen. On the ground floor, you’ll also find a hall, the wardrobe and a bathroom with separate toilet. The upper floor features 3 bedrooms for a max. of 6 people. The cabin is facing south offering a stunning panoramic view of the mountain Falkert. You can easily explore the area around Lake Falkertsee on foot. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find Lake Falkertsee, via ferratas, MTB trails, hiking trails (such as a stage of the Alpe Adria Trail) and much more. Thanks to its central location, a lot of other sights and attractions in Carinthia are within a short drive. The scenic drive “Nockalmstraße” or the public pools at the shores of Lake Millstättersee are only some of the highlights nearby.
